Hey guys, I'm currently 16, and I'm wondering what's the age requirement to own a car, and also insure it with car insurance My parents are not going to get me car insurance, they made so many excuses, and because my salary is about 600 a month, working for only 1 day a week. I could accord a car by the end of this year. I don't see why my parents won't get me car insurance for my dads car. so i might as well buy my own car and see what their excuse is. Interesting point of view Kal....I guess my definition of healthy" is different from yours. I don't consider any cereal or mild healthy (not that it's junk food per say)...and the price of living in NYC

Im 16, female, and I live in Louisiana. I plan on driving an '84 corvette with 89,000 miles on it. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how much insurance would be on the car? I think my family is with USAA if that helps. I know that it will be high bc it's a sports car and I'm young, but I'm wondering if anyone can give me a number that way o can be prepared and educated on it when I discuss it with my parents. Balu & others: My interest is my ex-husband. I have remarried. Ex-hubby still has me on the mortage of our prior home. Multiple sources stated that he MUST re-finance to get my name off of the title (even the mortgage co says this), DESPITE the fact that the house is in his name per divorce decree... I want to insure him for the BALANCE left on the note, so that I am not stuck with a house that I can't pay the mortgage on... That's my motive, folks... 111209
